Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 28, 2026
This website for Eden Yahalom — the FREESTYLE Workshop aims to provide a convenient, equal experience for all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone deserves to browse with dignity, independence, and ease, and we work to keep the site aligned with accessibility requirements.
1. Conformance level
The site was built following the Israeli Standard IS 5568 for web content accessibility, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines, and in the spirit of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013.
2. What we've done to make the site accessible
- Semantic HTML structure and a logical heading hierarchy for screen-reader navigation.
- Full keyboard navigation with a clear visual focus indicator.
- Alternative text (alt) for meaningful images.
- Careful color contrast between text and background.
- A built-in accessibility toolbar for personal adjustments (see section 3).
- Full responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
- Video with accessible playback controls.
3. The accessibility toolbar
The site includes an accessibility toolbar — a button with an accessibility icon on the side of the screen. Clicking it opens personal adjustment options:
- Increase and decrease text size.
- High-contrast mode.
- Highlight links.
- Reset settings.
Your choices are saved in your browser and persist on future visits.
4. Known limitations
We make an ongoing effort to keep all content accessible. Some parts may not yet be fully accessible. We continue to improve accessibility regularly and welcome feedback that helps us do better.
5. Accessibility contact
Ran into difficulty while browsing, or have a suggestion to improve accessibility? We'd love to hear from you and will address it promptly.
